The Morial Convention Center is housed in what was once part of the 1984 World Exposition and Fair in New Orleans. The center has been expanded many times since its opening shortly after the World’s Fair and now holds title to the largest single floor continuous space in the country.  The facility contains 1.1 million square feet of continuous space in the same building on one floor. The center may be divided into 12 separate halls to host multiple events and shows at the same time. Also included in the complex are 140 upper level meeting rooms, two large ballrooms: La Louisiana is 30,487 square feet and the Nouvelle Orleans is 36,448 square feet. A 4,032-seat conference center auditorium, divisible into three separate sections is also available.
